Cangzhou Dahua TDI Co. Ltd. is a large production enterprise of polyurethane raw materials funded by Cangzhou Dahua Group Co. Ltd. and Hebei Construction Investment Co. Ltd. The TDI project with annual production capacity 20,000-tons of Cangzhou Dahua was initiated upon approval of the State Planning Commission in March 1991. Construction commenced on January 18, 1996. As for production process, technologies of Sweden International Chemical were applied and key equipment were introduced from Wizering Inc. of the US. The whole production line was commissioned on December 18, 1999 and realized stable operations in 2000. Output of TDI products consecutively hit new highs in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 and exceeded designed production capacity. It implemented “two to three” project transformation in 2005 and output reached 30,097.84-tons in 2006. Output of TID reached 32,501.24-tons in 2010, accounting for 108.34% of designed capacity to hit a record high. The main plant safely operated for 90 days under a high load and reached the highest level among plants of the same category. Li Yongwu, former director of National Chemical Administration, compared TDI Company to “a flag of polyurethane industry of China”. The company regards safety and environmental protections as a cornerstone for its survival and devotes much effort, materials for energy savings and emissions reductions. The enterprise accepted its social responsibilities, practiced environmental protection concepts, “responsible and caring; green land and blue sky” of Cangzhou Dahua Group and all emissions reductions indexes met requirements of the State. The company took the lead in passing certification, ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System, Occupational Safety and Health Management System and Environmental Management System among its domestic counterparts. Its products have been applied to such fields as soft foam, elastomer and paint and have received praise from users. Products were awarded, “Product Satisfying Users across the Country” and “Famous Brand Product of Hebei Province”.
